I waited a month or so before reviewing. I have a decent laptop that wouldn't update Windows updates, blue screen every time it reset. Other places quoted me really high just to find out the issue. The inspection was free for me to leave it to find out what was wrong with it. It ended up being a pretty serious fault with the SSD hard-drive (needs replacement). I paid a reasonable deposit and got my laptop back in a day or so. Works fantastic. I truly believe they saved me money since that's all it needed. Other places like BestB down the road will make you pay double just to have a year of covered services. I may not need another service in the next year so I'd say I saved money for getting the one thing I needed fixed. Also easy to talk with and they answer questions well. I appreciate the local repair people!

Been using A Computer Genius for years for my business as well as personal computing for our entire family. They go out of their way to not only fix problems, but also keep costs in line. Friendly group of guys. It was a very pleasant experience. I was finally able to get my hands on a graphics card after searching for months. It was a over msrp but, the way the market is they can't really be blamed for that. That's just the way the it is right now. Finding a card in stock is like winning the lottery and you would have better luck finding Atlantis than a card at msrp. They seemed genuinely happy to see me find what I was looking for. I got my card and was hopefully able to support a small computer shop. I'm happy.

My experience with A Computer Genius was excellent. I have a relatively new MacBook Air that wouldnt turn on after a power surge. I didnt hold out much hope for it, but A Computer Genius was able to repair the motherboard and she is running good as new! Yay! Their fees were completely reasonable - better than Id expected - and I had my computer back within a couple of days. Ill certainly recommend them in the future. I noticed they had a nice selection of used computers out on the floor too, Id certainly feel confident purchasing one from them. Thanks again

I needed a broken screen fixed on my almost new Dell laptop. I emailed and called Dell for about a week, finally brought it to Best Buy where they sent it out for a week only to tell me they couldnt fix it and I had to send it to Dell directly. I brought it to Computer Genius and they had it done within 24 hours. They will definitely be my first stop next time. Thank you CG!

My iMac Fusion Hard Drive died on me and the guys at Computer Genius replaced it with a SSD or Solid State Hard drive. The SSD drive is so much quicker compared to the fusion hard drive that originally came with the computer. I supplied them with my Western Digital Backup that was being backed up with the time machine on the iMac and they were able to transfer every single thing from my old computer to the new SSD. Everything went perfect and I have a lot of programs on my computer. The price is very reasonable as well.They also provided me with a very user friendly Virus software that is also free to use and much better and easier to use compared to Norton. I could not be happier. I highly recommend these guys.

A Computer Genius is the first place I go for any computer issues big or small for years now. They are very trustworthy, communicative, reasonably priced and kind. They've never tried to sell me a product or service that I don't need, and I've never had an issue with work that they've done. I am so grateful for them and send everyone I know their way!

I did not see your response before I came back in. I decided I wanted a computer for myself after buying my wife one. You were very helpful. This was the first time I had ever purchased a used computer. It has only been a day but I have been very pleased with it.
Staff is helpful and knowledgeable but as a computer store you would think they would understand the importance of social media and maybe having items online. They have a sign saying they will offer tax free weekend on Monday. If they had it on Friday and promoted it I would have gone there instead of micro center today.

Great business. Brought them my MacBook (that's right, the old white MacBooks....) which Apple and Best Buy deemed too "vintage" to upgrade, and in two days A Computer Genius had it running on a platform one step behind the current Apple operating platform. They included the memory upgrade for free as part of the operating system update and found me a used battery for pennies. Cost me significantly less than a new computer and saved me creating more electronic waste. I'd recommend their work to anyone, my laptop works like new again. Go for it!
