Our Story

Pat Palmer's passion for computers began at the age of 14, when his father brought home a new TRS-80 Model I computer. With a challenge from his father - "I bet you $20 that you can't figure this out!" - Pat took it upon himself to learn and write a program to figure batch weights of concrete for his father's Ready Mix Plant. This marked the beginning of his journey in the world of computers. After college, Pat continued to work in the radio field but his passion for computers carried through and in 1996 he created The Computer Guy, working part-time on nights and weekends to build the business. Today, Pat continues to service over 1,000 customers a year, driving over 30,000 miles and treating customers the way he'd like to be treated.
